UPDATE April 23, 2020
ACUP+ 2020 Conference Cancelled
ACUP+ holds the health and safety of our members, sponsors, and community to be of utmost importance. It is with this priority in mind that the Board of Directors has decided to cancel the 2020 annual conference.
Registration and sponsor fees may be refunded or rolled over to the 2021 conference to be held in Vancouver, Washington, April 11 – April 15. Please notify Jennifer Bowers at email@example.com if you will need a refund prior to May 30, otherwise your registration fee will be rolled over for the 2021 conference.
Although we won’t be together in person this year, the ACUP+ Committees are at work to develop a series of webinars and virtual meetings through the summer and fall months. Schedule dates and times for these educational opportunities will be announced soon. We are also planning a virtual awards ceremony to honor those winning entries sent in for 2020.
ACUP+ is wishing the best for you and yours during these challenging times. Stay well and we look forward to seeing you at upcoming ACUP+ virtual events and in person at our 2021 conference!
UPDATE March 12, 2020
ACUP+ has secured new dates for our 2020 conference with the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lincoln, NE. The new dates will be Sunday, June 28 – Thursday, July 2, 2020. We realize the COVID-19 situation is very uncertain and fluid. We hope in the next several months there will be clarity and containment of this virus.
Your registration for the conference with ACUP+: You will not need to re-register for the new the dates, all existing registrations will be moved and honored. If you need to cancel due to schedule conflicts please contact Jennifer at ACUP+.
Your booked hotel room: You must cancel your existing hotel reservation. Refer to your reservation confirmation for the hotel’s room cancellation policy to avoid unwanted credit card charges. Call the Embassy Suites at 402-474-1111. A new reservation portal for room reservation with the new dates is on on our website at the Conference Travel Tab.
Your airline ticket: Most major airlines will change your dates of travel, some may charge a change fee but many at this time are waiving that fee. Check with your airline for options.
We appreciate your support as we all move through the current situation as it represents a significant interruption of normal business practice nationally as well as internationally. ACUP+ is a community and in these difficult times we need to come together in the full spirit of the phrase, “support one another”. We hope you will be able to join us in person in June.
UPDATE March 11, 2020
A message to all ACUP+ attendees and our valued sponsors,
The ACUP Board of Directors wants its attendees and sponsor representatives to have a good ACUP+ 2020 conference experience. Your health and safety is of utmost concern to us, and as mentioned in our previous announcement we have been monitoring COVID-19 situation very closely. It has become apparent that travel restrictions are being put into place by many companies and educational institutions for safety and to minimize the spread of this virus during our public health emergency.
With that in mind the Board of Directors has determined it is best for the welfare of the ACUP+ family that we postpone our 2020 conference. We are presently working with the Embassy Suites hotel in Lincoln to determine a new date for our event. We will be back in touch with you in the next few days with additional information and our new conference date. Please allow us time to work through this fluid situation so we can provide up-to-date information to assist you in schedule changes.
We appreciate your patience as we work through these important logistics that affect us all.
